About the Artist


    Laura Era is a native of Dorchester County and co-owner of the prestigious Troika Gallery in downtown Easton, Maryland. She is an award winning, portrait and landscape artist, who has painted hundreds of portraits, both formal and informal, in oil and pastel. She has been a professional portrait artist since 1988.
Troika Gallery celebrates its 15th anniversary this year.

“As a woman, artist, and an American citizen, I am deeply honored to have been commissioned to do this painting,” Era says. “I feel a strong connection with Anna and am grateful to be able to lend my talents to help share her story and to be a part of the long overdue recognition she so rightly deserves.”
